02/01/2009: "Vlido-Brigindu (Feast of Brigindu) 2009"

Today we celebrated a festival for Brigindu, parallel to Imbolc for Brig. Our families enjoyed the beautiful day and celebrated our Goddess.

Following the ritual themes of increase outlined in the Apple Branch, we meditated upon:

Ablution, to wash away elements that impede increase.

The crios Bride as the primary symbol of increase.

The brideog, representing Brigindu herself.

The cros Bride as the magical agent for bringing increase into our lives by means of a ritual passage through Brigindu's womb

On the crosoga, an object we charged with energy of the ritual in order to conserve the energy for future use.
